April 1, 2005Former GUNS N' ROSES drummer Steven Adler has been confirmed to play at the U.S. Indie Band & Film Expo, set to take place Aug. 19-23 in Beaumont, TX. Steven's band ADLER'S APPETITE will headline the evening of August 20 along with ELEMENT 80 and KEVIN MARTIN & THE HIWATTS.

The U.S. Indie will hosts 500 indie bands on four stages, filmmakers, 200 entertainment industry companies and a multitude of headliners each night of the event.
As previously reported, ADLER'S APPETITE recently parted ways with vocalist Jizzy Pearl (RATT/ex-LOVE/HATE). Steven was scheduled to fly to Los Angeles this week to audition possible replacements. Among those being considered is Joe Leste (BANG TANGO),who recently performed with the band in Japan.
In addition to Steven, ADLER'S APPETITE's current lineup includes VINCE NEIL/ex-SLASH'S SNAKEPIT guitarist Keri Kelli, and ex-VINCE NEIL/RATT bassist Robbie Crane. The group recently issued their debut EP, available now via the band's official web site. Steven describes the CD, which includes covers of "Draw the Line" by AEROSMITH and "Hollywood" by THIN LIZZY, as "dark," both lyrically and in tone.
